Hello! Welcome to my blog! I’m EthnieMay Whitmore, and I’m delighted to be your host here. On this website, you will find posts and photos about my travels around the world! All the way from tips/ticks for packing, to random updates about cool things, to encouraging quotes so that I can at least get a few views here. I can’t wait to share with you my travels and exciting stories!
As the eldest of four siblings in a family of six, my life is a whirlwind of activity, but it’s absolutely fantastic! I share a strong bond with my siblings, and I encourage you to explore their blogs, which I’ve linked below.
The essence of my life can be summed up as: crazy and awesome! I lead a nomadic lifestyle, primarily on the road, while simultaneously pursuing full-time homeschooling, complete with assignments and online classes. Music is a huge part of our family’s life—we all play the violin, and each of us has our own favorite instrument. By the way, Zeb, one of my siblings, is a published artist on Spotify under the name “Infinity’s Omega.” Be sure to check out his music!
I have had the incredible opportunity to explore over 21 countries (the numbers are continuously updating ;), and all 7 continents. Yes, you read that right—I’ve even been to Antarctica! (You can read all about that adventure in a dedicated post!) While Antarctica holds a special place in my heart, Cape Town, South Africa, is a close second; along with a close 3rd from Auckland, New Zealand.
My passions include interacting with people, listening to music, slogging through schoolwork, and losing myself in the pages of a good book. Admittedly, I might have a slight addiction to reading, but as I like to say, “Lines turn into letters, letters turn into words, words turn into sentences, sentences turn into paraphrases, paragraphs turn into a story, and a story creates another world to dive into.” Don’t even get me started on my obsession with musicals!! I am a theater kids and drama queen at heart folks.
